Welcome to NovaTools Hub ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our tools and visit our website.

By using NovaTools Hub, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the site and tools.

Information we collect

Personal information

We may collect limited personal information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, subscribe to updates, or participate in surveys (for example, your name, email address, and message content).

Usage data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our website, such as:

  • IP address and browser type
  • Device information and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website and exit pages
  • Tool usage patterns and basic interaction events

Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how tools are used. You can control analytics and preference cookies through our cookie settings and your browser.

Cookie types

  • Strictly necessary: Required to serve pages, remember basic options, and protect against abuse.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics for aggregated usage statistics. This only loads if you explicitly accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner.
  • Advertising: Ad technology used by Google AdSense to serve and measure ads. Ads may appear regardless of your local cookie choices; personalization can be controlled via your Google account and browser settings.
  • Personalization: Theme (dark/light) and interface preferences stored locally in your browser so the site feels consistent between visits.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our tools and services
  • Personalize your experience and deliver relevant content
  • Analyze usage patterns and optimize performance
  • Communicate important updates and new features
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforcement requests
  • Display advertisements, with personalization largely governed by your Google and browser ad settings rather than by a separate NovaTools Hub account system

Third-party services

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. You can also opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on some pages. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization via Google Ad Settings and your browser’s privacy controls.

External APIs

Some tools call external APIs (for example, currency exchange rates or AI services). Data sent to these services is limited to what is required for the tool to function and is governed by the respective providers’ privacy policies.

Data and file retention

We prioritize minimal data retention. Unlike traditional cloud storage services, we do not permanently store your files.

Client-side tools

Most of our tools (calculators, converters, formatters) run entirely in your browser. Input data never leaves your device, so there is no server-side retention to worry about.

Server-side processing

For tools that require server processing (such as some image manipulation tools), temporary files are created to perform the requested operation. These files are subject to strict automated cleanup policies:

  • Standard retention: Uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted within 30 minutes.
  • Immediate deletion: In many cases, files are deleted immediately after you download the result.
  • No backups: Temporary processing files are excluded from our backup systems.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data we may hold.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations.
  • Restriction: Limit how we process your personal data.
  • Portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Objection: Object to certain types of processing, such as direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, analytics cookies).

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@NovaToolsHub.com.

Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to help protect information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
  • Secure server infrastructure and hardened defaults
  • Regular dependency updates and security patches
  • Restricted access to infrastructure and configuration
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest where appropriate

Children’s privacy

NovaTools Hub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and remove the data where appropriate.
