Deep work blocks
Protect writing, coding, studying, or analysis time from constant task switching.
Boost productivity with focused work intervals and smart breaks.
The Pomodoro Technique is a simple focus system: work for a defined interval, take a short break, and repeat. The classic pattern is 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5-minute break, with a longer break after four work sessions. This timer lets you customize those intervals, track today's completed sessions, and optionally receive browser notifications when a session ends.
Pomodoro works because it makes focus finite. Instead of trying to concentrate for an open-ended afternoon, you commit to one contained session with a clear stop point. The break is part of the system, not a reward you skip. Used consistently, the method can reduce context switching, make large tasks less intimidating, and help you see how much focused time a project actually needs.
Step 1: Set your work, short break, and long break durations, or keep the default 25-5-15 pattern.
Step 2: Choose whether to enable notifications and auto-start breaks.
Step 3: Press Start and focus on one task until the work session ends.
Step 4: Take the scheduled break, then continue the cycle and review today's session history.

Group email, messages, and small operational tasks into controlled intervals.
Use focused rounds and breaks to make revision or practice less overwhelming.
Plan breaks before fatigue builds instead of waiting until focus collapses.

Yes. You can adjust work, short break, and long break durations to match the type of task and your attention span.
For a short unavoidable interruption, pause. If the interruption changes the task completely, reset and start a new focused session.
No. Notifications are optional. They are useful when the timer tab is in the background, but the timer works without them.
The timer keeps today's session history locally in the browser so you can review completed focus and break time.
